The Weekend

Winter blues

It’s been such a long, long Winter here in Seattle. I can’t seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I find myself unmotivated to do anything. No ideas on what to paint! It’s been tough.

Hopefully, Spring will be here soon (at least the trees at UW got the message!) And with it, more ideas and creativity will flow.

Scenes from the Weekend

This past weekend, my mother in law was in town so we took a small, weekend trip to San Francisco / Palo Alto.

I also used the time to catch up with a high school friend that is now attending UC Berkeley.

We didn’t do much, except walk and walk and walk, and enjoy some of the more touristy things to do. Next time, I know which places to avoid!

It was a nice weekend, and I really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be back.

Summer is finally here! This weekend was a little bit more active than usual because the weather was amazing. We had a fun afternoon at Lake Sammamish Park near Seattle with some friends on Saturday. Lake, BBQ and sun.

Also, games.

Sunday we took a sushi-making class at a sushi restaurant in Fremont. It was really fun and delicious. You can find some photos on my Instagram account

It’s cruise season in Seattle! This means more tourists, especially around the Pike Place Market area, but it’s always fun to try and spot them.
